half hour run on slightly snowy streets, tightened a little at 20 minutes, seized up at 30. Slightly lbetter next day, stretched it. better day after that (snow shoveling, more stretches).

Rest and after ready for it, lots of doorway calf stretch (3 sets of 4/day, 30secs/stretch).
