Sore along top of foot towards arch of foot. Doesn't hurt when not in use or to touch and isn't swollen or bruised but uncomfortable to walk on. Not so bad if I run on it. Possibly from doing a long run in the morning then lacing ice skatings that evening really tight on swollen feet. It was both feet but now pretty much just my left foot.

Tying my shoelaces too tight is not a good idea, especially not ice skates after your feet have swollen from running that morning! Recovery? Try and keep off it and then watch your laces every time you tie them.
