Knee pain after scrambling and slipping in the Catalinas, 8/27. Hurts to walk, running... hurts to think about.
The Dr. said that while my pain and exam were consistent with an MCL tear, the lack of swelling made him think that it's just strained, or there might be a meniscus issue... will wait to see how it is a week from now before ordering an MRI....
SUMMARY:
- MRI showed bucket tear in the medial meniscus.
- Out-patient arthroscopic surgery (partial meniscectomy) on 10/25/11.
- PT started on 11/3 to help with loss of range of motion and quad stability.
- PT ended 12/2
