Race Evaluation

NAIOC: Blue - Round 1

1.							In the lead! Arrived first just after I heard Boris ask "Is J-J leading?!"
2.							Following a string of hotshots, missed the control (in a patch of young pines) and had to turn back, losing contact with the leaders.
3.							But they went left and got lost, while I went right and got there right after the first of them.
4.							Pretty much following.
5.							Watched what I was doing,a nd turned uphill at the right place, while some others overshot, too far up the main reentrant. Encountered the Red leaders here.
6.							Could see Greg Balter ahead of me, but took at straighter line, while Greg was too far downhill, and I gained on him.
F.							A few steps behind Greg, and few more (I think) behind Marc Lauenstein, who won.
