US Champs: Sprint Blue

2.							Hit my watch to take a split at #1 (by reflex), and realized because it didn't beep that I hadn't successfully started it. In the process of screwing around with it to start it, I completely failed to pay attention to where I was going, and went waaaay too left, up the yellow spur NE of the finish, to a control on a swingset. Corrected fine, but Dan Stoll-Hadayia caught me at #2.
3.							Pulling away from Dan (he got lassoed by some thorny stuff, I think).
4.							Dead straight, no trail, Dan got ahead.

6.							I was a little right, Dan was way right, and I spotted it.

8.							About halfway, I whacked my left big toe and shin on some piece of wood really hard. Hurt so much I wasn't sure I'd be able to keep going.
9.							Limping down the hill, and starting to wheeze, no idea why.
10.							Through the woods, drifted a bit left of the line and hit the trail just before the junction with the ride.
11.							Took the road, Erin Schirm was coming in the other way on it. He passed me, as did Wil Smith, and gained back a little I thinkby cutting through the woods after the road bend.

13.							Got back ahead of Wil when he went to the wrong side of the intersection.
