1. 160m 1:56 24 +44 61% 70.1 10 12:05   160m 1:56 24 +44 61% 12:05 Almost made a 90 degree error down the E trail, but caught myself and veered into the forest at a better angle. Almost stopped a bit short.
2. 239m 2:39 23 +1:01 62% 65.6 20 11:05   399m 4:35 24 +1:45 62% 11:29 Went too far to the right and had to climb back up a couple of contours.
3. 244m 1:56 24 +35 43% 76.4 7:55   643m 6:31 25 +2:20 56% 10:08 Had problems running fast through the vegetation. I'm surprised that my time isn't better on this leg.
4. 1662m 16:05 22 +4:47 42% 75.8 2:00 9:40   2305m 22:36 22 +7:07 46% 9:48 The big marsh didn't look as marshy as I had expected, and after I crossed it I was not sure exactly where I was. I didn't find it easy to relocate on the cliff clad spurs because there were several of them. I kept runnning on compass at a medium pace, and eventually realized I had just passed the pond next to 6. I read the map more carefully from here as I didn't want to lose contact again.
5. 331m 2:43 19 +36 28% 80.6 20 8:12   2636m 25:19 20 +7:30 42% 9:36 Should have stayed to the left in order to use hill with boulders as attackpoint. Instead I went more straight and hesitated a bit.
6. 419m 3:42 19 +47 27% 80.0 8:49   3055m 29:01 20 +8:11 39% 9:29 Went below the cliffs and over the first spur. Climbed on top of the second spur and followed it in.
7. 416m 3:55 15 +57 32% 78.0 15 9:24   3471m 32:56 19 +8:11 33% 9:29 Wanted to stay left on top of the cliffs. Hesitated when I came to the first cliff on the left.
8. 167m 1:41 11 +16 19% 84.8 10:04   3638m 34:37 18 +8:27 32% 9:30 Passed the lower cliffs on the left side, then cut back to the right.
9. 1040m 9:14 13 +1:38 21% 83.2 15 8:52   4678m 43:51 15 +10:05 30% 9:22 Took the trail ontil it turned E, then headed for the marsh as a catching feature. Once I got to it it looked smaller than I had imagined, so at first I was wondering whether it was the smaller marsh to the W that I was at. This cost me a little bit of time because I hesitated.
10. 665m 6:55 23 +2:14 48% 73.0 10:24   5343m 50:46 16 +11:25 29% 9:30 Stayed right initially to avoid having to contour. Don't remember exactly what I did next.
11. 313m 2:11 6 +15 13% 89.8 6:58   5656m 52:57 15 +11:36 28% 9:21 Straight, making sure the hill was to my right.
12. 345m 3:33 20 +48 29% 78.9 10:17   6001m 56:30 15 +12:08 27% 9:24 Went on compass to the tip of the first marsh, then across the various small hills.
13. 144m 1:46 28 +33 45% 70.4 10 12:16   6145m 58:16 15 +12:41 28% 9:28 Around right to stay below the cliffs. It took longer than I had expected, and I stopped short a couple of times.
14. 345m 2:53 22 +47 37% 76.1 8:21   6490m 1:01:09 15 +13:28 28% 9:25 Straight, using the small marsh on the right as an attack point as I could see it from up on the side of the spur.
15. 247m 2:21 19 +43 44% 75.2 9:30   6737m 1:03:30 15 +14:11 29% 9:25 Slightly to the left to get around the last cliff.
16. 867m 7:16 22 +1:35 28% 80.9 8:22   7604m 1:10:46 15 +15:39 28% 9:18 Sprained my ankle pretty bad on the way out from 15. Decided to take the left route choice. Pretty easy navigation.
17. 448m 3:43 17 +42 23% 83.9 8:17   8052m 1:14:29 15 +16:04 28% 9:15 Considered avoiding the climb over the hilltop, but decided to push through and go straight.
18. 476m 5:38 23 +1:57 53% 67.5 20 38 11:50   8528m 1:20:07 16 +18:01 29% 9:23 This was not my favourite leg. After being coerced into the reentrant below the control, I found a good place to climb out of it and contour to the trail. Then I crossed the trail, heading down diagonally. I saw Erin down below and was gaining slowly but surely. At some point I hit a tree with my hand carrying my sunglasses, and after a few steps I realized one of the lenses had popped out. I ran back and it was lying on the ground next to the tree. It only took a few seconds to pop it back in and continue. I used the spur next to the S fork in the stream to guide me in. It had a huge unmapped cliff on it.
19. 163m 1:31 18 +27 42% 73.6 9:18   8691m 1:21:38 16 +18:25 29% 9:23 Straight down the hill, having big problems getting my spikes to stick to the rock faces that were covered with leaves.
20. 229m 1:58 26 +42 55% 69.2 10 8:35   8920m 1:23:36 15 +19:07 30% 9:22 Contoured, and started climbing a bit after what I thought was the last cliff. It turned out the hill was still further S, but I didn't climb very much too high.
21. 476m 3:50 20 +1:05 39% 72.8 20 8:03   9396m 1:27:26 15 +19:55 29% 9:18 Down to the trail an on until it turned left. Then I crossed the stream, but it turned out I was on the upper trail, which took me towards the paved road that was out of bounds. Turned towards the hilltop and went over it into the reentrant.
22. 187m 1:28 16 +19 28% 81.8 7:50   9583m 1:28:54 15 +20:01 29% 9:16 Contoured around the spur as I didn't feel like climbing up it just to run down on the other side.
23. 53m 8 21 +3 60% 66.7 2:30   9636m 1:29:02 15 +20:04 29% 9:14
