Blue course. Nice and runable mostly.
All good until control 7when I dropped down on to the big path and found myself below unmarked crags, eventually found a way up through loosing 2 minutes. Made a few smaller errors on the remainder of the course and had a fight with a barbed wire fence (I lost) and was very careful to make sure I was on the correct path coming back to 26 in the same area that I had previously had problems. (The description was a bit odd on the east part of a spur that faced west?) When I couldn’t locate it I decided to come out to the big track bend south of it but couldn’t make anything fit, back to the north path and found the control with 4 min 30 lost.
Discovered from others later the big track is the line of crags.
Apart from the 2 big errors good JK practice.
Biking long (Winter bike) 1:31:20 [3] 24.0 mi (3:48 / mi)
Bike to work
Down:39.08
Home: 52.02
Expected the wind in my face coming back but hit a hailstorm with wind so strong I had to stand up in bottom gear to make progress.
Type 2 fun!
