Training for the super squad Mark 2 today. Spent the day hanging and picking up controls for what was mostly a control picking exercise. The map was near Daylesford with a new name that I do not know. Used to be a name with the initials JC that is a somewhat inappropriate and insensitive name. Map itself is quite good. Big vegetation changes and very old style mapping but still very readable

Ride from home. Tried to add more on to get over 20k but still didn't manage it. Busier than usual tonight. Nearly got run down by a young bloke in a 4 wheel drive. Had to get out of the way of another. Saw a very cheerful jogger on Clarke's Rd. Met a lone women walking down Monmouth Rd and then rode between 2 stopped 4 wheel drives with 4 men standing around. Seeing the lone woman and the 4 blokes made me consider people are a bit on edge in the area even though all the fuss has had nothing to do with us. Seeing the 4 guys immediately made me think they were out searching for a body but I think they were just forest workers. Hats off to the woman walking alone. Shouldn't be an issue I suppose. Have often said that even though you think you are remote and alone in the forest you never are.
