Walk to the start after the bus drop. Made it to my start with over four minutes to spare.

Lake Frederick - West Point NRE

Brown Course - First in F65!

After taking it easy yesterday, I figured I might as well give it a go for today, and actually had a pretty good time. Toe really hurts now, but I've got a week before I need to orienteer again. Lost some focus from 9 to 11, but other than that, it went really well. Spent a lot of the time with Charlie in the vicinity from 3 to the finish and Barb for a bit as well. And definitely beat the N/2 - 1.

Annual West Point Meet - Walk to the start. Was a bit of a slog and happy that I had made the decision to drop to yello.

Orienteering 34:55 [3] 2.91 km (11:59 / km) +50m 11:02 / km
ahr:130 max:150

Camp Shea - West Point NRE. After feeling pretty miserable for the last two weeks and still coughing quite a bit, and my ears are still all plugged up and my toe, which I either broke slightly or greatly bruised last week... I dropped to Yellow instead of Brown. A good choice I think, as my feet feel pretty good (after the disaster in Arizona) other than my bruised/broke toe. I actually enjoyed it. Didn't run a step, so compared to the kids on the course, my result didn't hold up much, but i did beat N/2 - 1.
