First time touching a basketball in probably 5 years.

I'm happy nothing seems to be too damaged afterwards and it was a blast.

6am kickoff for a muggy tour of the grindstone with RB.

This was supposed to be a MW training run but with his travel this week he had to bail. That meant RB and I gunned it from the start to see if we could take a shot at the 1:19 record.

But the combination of greasy trails, running by headlamp, and all the fallen leaves obscuring the trail a few times ("are we bushwhacking? I guess so...onward!") all that proved too much for us and we came in a few minutes over.

The climbs were cruel today. Legs were still feeling the wallballs and thrusters from a few days ago.
