To Magnuson Park for the soccers. Seattle Prep and Lincoln played to a reasonably eventful and intense but ultimately unsatisfying 0-0 draw. Also this is the start of my training for the Magnolia Street Scramble which is...*checks calendar*...tomorrow. Crap

In others news I am Juror #8, so at present I have in effect traded a job that pays me money for one that takes the same amount of my time but pays me nothing. This was not the plan, but luckily the judge says the trial will likely end early next week and then we will dELiBeRaTe. In any case, I have found jury duty engrossing; a trial is an inherently dramatic ensemble performance that is long prepared for and intricately staged, yet no one quite knows what will happen, and it is produced solely for a random group of people who are treated like Idiot Gods. It's sort of like the original reality TV.
