Emmarentia kinetic sprint AR with Dave. My favourite one of the year. Quite competitive with 3 fast teams to race against. Greg & Michael, Craig & Ruan and Malcolm & Jaco. We were way off the speed on the bike but with a clean route we finished the long cycle within sight of Craig & Ruan. Some confusion with the wrong maps having been printed for the last run and kayak, so Heidi decided that we should just run to kayak and back. We set out on the heels of Craig & Ruan for the dam. Caught and passed them as we started the paddle and sprinted home. Finished 2nd but relegated to 3rd as they got a 2min bonus for being slowed down in the transition with the map confusion. Fun day out! Loved the fast paced racing.
