Blistering hot in Atlanta so opted for the treadmill. Dropped in 7x2:00 intervals at 9.5 mph. Probably the best treadmill I've ever run on. Could set my high and low speeds and switch between them with one touch. I've done a lot of treadmill intervals and always had to clickedy click my way up and down which sucks when recovery is only 60 seconds.
Then straight Into the pool and beers.

Well I had hoped for more this week but it was/is not to be.
This run was decent. Started a bit sore but managed fine. Dreamed up a TNT classic - small Swedish pyramid 1/2/3/4/3/2/1 and then when I got to the end I was eiger for more so I did 1/1/1 again. Then jogged home and accompanied a friend I bumped into part of the way.
Enjoyed having a real running shoe on again. I loved my old sayonaras and these new ones are super too. Hopefully the radical change in 'road feel' aka pounding doesn't come with too steep a price tag.
