Well the plan was to do a sulphur loop with harps. Was going ok until we happened upon two women and a dog in the orchard. One woman was on the phone with 911 and the other was laying on the ground and appeared to be unconscious. Needless to say we stopped and tried to provide some assistance. The 911 operator was providing instructions on how to do compressions which the friend was doing, harps held the phone and the dog, and I went to see if I could find someone else who was actually cpr certified. The one break this lady got today, and I'm not sure it will have been enough, is that the first guy I found was a physician who took over the cpr.

I have thought and said many time that A we (the guys I typically run with) should never be without phones on these runs and that B we should all get cpr training. 0/2 today, and that holds true most of the time. As a bunch of middle aged guys that like to push their physical limits this is perhaps not the best laid plan.

I sure hope that lady, whoever she is, manages to pull through. In the 45-50 minutes we were there I didn't see her regain consciousness and the cpr was still going. Not good.

I think as time goes on I'll have quite a lot to say about this but I think I'm still processing a bit.

Overreaching again. Pretty ridiculous, garmin. This whole watch thing is getting stressful. And difficult.
