The Nanga Challenge presented by Ascot Kayak Club is a multi sport event with a focus on fun and challenge that is sure to attract new members to the disciplines involved. It is about getting into the outdoors, chaellenging you, and having an excellent day out. The Nanga is a great way to get into adventure racing and Mountain Design our principal sponsor has all the gear you will need for adventure racing.
The event comprises of an upstream and downstream paddle totaling 10.5 km, a user friendly two-lap mountain bike leg totalling 21 kms and a one lap cross-country run of 9.6km. Participants can enter as a team, a pair or take on the ironman challenge and go solo. It's as competitive or as fun as you like to make it. Camping is available - enjoyment is compulsory.
