This camp is open to all junior orienteers who can complete a white course independently, and will focus on improving orienteering skills while promoting a fun social atmosphere. Lodging will be in bunkrooms at the Blue Mountain lodge, but space is limited to 15 girls and 15 boys. Food will be prepared by Janet Porter and the training will be organized by senior US Orienteering Team members and junior team coaches. Good times are guaranteed!

Arrival: 6:00, Friday April 8th, at Blue Mountain Trail Lodge

In a change from previous camps, we will vacate the lodge by late morning, and travel as a group to an orienteering meet on the Lake Welch and Rockhouse maps, in Harriman State Park. The meet will be conducted by Hudson Valley Orienteering (HVO), starting at 11am. After course reviews, the camp will wrap up with lunch.

Departure: 3:00pm, Sunday, April 10, directly from the park

Cost: $85
Includes: 2 nights of lodging, all meals, training, and transportation and entry to the HVO meet.

If this will be your first time at the camp, please also include a brief description of your orienteering experience (when you started, how often you orienteer, and anything else you want the coaches to know about you).
