"The 47th annual Paddy Pallin event this year will be held on the 20th June close to Gosford and only a short drive North from Sydney.

As usual this Rogaine will be a six-hour event for teams of 2 to 5 people, with a mass start at 9:00am and concluding at 3:00pm.

The course will be set to cater for all levels of ability and enthusiasm. So far, control placement includes lovely waterfalls, creek junctions and high points. The tracks take you past some awe-inspiring views from massive rock slabs. There will be an interesting route choice [dilemma?] for the more fit and/or ambitious teams.

The course is largely within a National Park and offers some great views. The elevation range is a very moderate 0 to 240 metres. As is usual near the coast, the vegetation is thicker than that found further inland, however this will be overcome by placing the majority of controls very close to tracks. There will of course be rewards for those who are prepared to venture further from the track network.

The hash house site will offer attractive walk in camping areas and some limited bunk house accomodation. What's more, we have access to a large undercover area, flush toilets and showers! There is also a natural rock waterhole for swimming, if anyone is still..."
