Orienteering Ottawa will once again be hosting our annual Ottawa O-Fest this fall. Our dates this year are September 24 and 25. Our location is Lac Beauchamp on the Quebec side of the Ottawa river. The terrain isn’t too hilly (but not completely flat!), is very technical with lots of rock features, has its fair share of marshes and an intricate trail network. Our course planners this year are the amazing duo of Randy and Eric Kemp. On Saturday we will have a Middle event, and on Sunday a Long event with a Chase Start. And if we plan the weather well, there is a great beach to enjoy a picnic and a swim. Plus super play structures for kids!
We invite you to join us for a weekend of great orienteering and a chance to relax afterwards at the beach and enjoy the company of fellow orienteers – something we haven’t had much opportunity to do in the past couple of years!
More information is on our Ottawa O-Fest website.
Registration is now open on Zone 4.
