Aside from hunting season, a hike in a North Country state forest is the very definition of social distancing. NCO has put out a 40-control DIY rogaine/score-o type course in the 963-acre Pleasant Lake State Forest. Create your own score-o or even point-to-point course from the available controls (survey ribbons). The ribbons will be up through 6/24/2020. PDF maps 1:9000 (17x11) or 1:12000 (11x8.5) with 2.5 m contours (Lidar-based) are provided.
