The 2020 Nav-X Challenge's third event brings us back to the Donner Summit area of Tahoe. We will be using an improved Topo map at scale 1:15,000. While not orienteering level detail, this map will have very accurate contours (from Lidar) and pretty reliable vegetation shadings using the very latest auto-draft technologies from OCAD. It should be a real treat for anyone who enjoys the high country at the best time of year, whether you are looking for a scenic hike, or an endurance race against some of the best in the west! A great warm-up event for the World Rogaining Champs at Northstar on Aug. 1-2. This will be the same area to be used for the WRC model.
