Members Advanced Orienteering meet.
Expert orienteers (i.e., those who have finished a brown, green, red, or blue course) are welcome to participate on Sunday, November 10th at Umstead West. We will offer three point-to-point expert courses (brown 3.8km, green 5.6km, and red 7.0km), with starts any time between noon and 2:00pm. Control pickup will start at 3:00pm.
You must pre-register. Registrations received after 6 PM on Friday Nov 8th cannot be guaranteed a map.
To get here: cross I-40 on Old Reedy Creek Road going north. Follow the dirt road until you see BOK signs and park along the road. There are a few “no parking” signs – please be respectful of this.
Old Reedy Creek Road. We carpool and bike here. There are good bike trails around Lake Crabtree that you can access from Old Reedy Creek Road.
