Join us for the first edition of Adventure Race Philly, offering three unique events, all within the city’s Wissahickon Gorge. Register today for our multi-generational family race, our all-women's race, or our twilight race -- or take on all three! Guaranteed to push your body, test your mind, and lift your spirit.

One Day. Three races. Choose your own adventure.

Event Descriptions

Family Adventure Race: Bring your kids! Grab your parents! Siblings, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins are welcome too! Consider a new way to experience “family bonding.” Multigenerational teams will line up for the start of an elaborate scavenger hunt, using topographical maps to get themselves from checkpoint to checkpoint, through a series of age-appropriate challenges guaranteed to make everyone laugh harder than the latest viral video.*

Women's Adventure Race: According to Outside Magazine, the future of adventure is female. Prove them right at the inaugural Adventure Race Philly Women's Adventure Race! Solos and teams of 2-3 racers will explore the nooks and crannies of Wissahickon, with only a map and your wits to guide you.*

Twilight Adventure Race: An event open to solos and single-gender and coed teams of 2-4 participants. Racers will have four hours to run, trek, bike, and navigate their way through the rugged splendor of the Wissahickon, all while chasing the setting sun.

*Family race and women's race will include foot-only and foot/bike divisions. You can choose your division on race day.
