Classic Orienteering at its Best! The 2015 ACT Autumn Classics offer competitors the opportunity to enjoy two days of orienteering on classic Australian terrain on adjoining maps, just 50 kms east of Canberra. The terrain for Day One, the ACT Middle Distance Championships, is relatively flat, with many tricky knolls and depressions after sand mining. For Day Two, the ACT Long Distance Championships, the terrain is steeper, with rocky outcrops and subtle gullies, niches and spurs. The maps for both areas have been revised for these events.
