Alpine Shop has once again joined us as the title sponsor of the event. They will be supplying prizes to lower categories and SWAG. They will have their usual compound and bike demos at the races.

We have made some changes to the races this year to accomodate the incredible growth the series has seen. The races this year will be moved to the backside of Castlewood beyond the railroad trestle. We will be staging the races in Lincoln Field (big empty field past the overflow parking). The backside courses will be longer and allow for less lapped traffic. We are increasing the field size to 80 riders per field. THERE WILL BE NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 14 ALLOWED IN THE A,B,C RACES UNLESS THEY CAN DEMONSTRATE BEING CAPABLE OF HOLDING A REASONABLE SPEED AND SAFE RACING PRACTICES! Chris Clausen and Matt Struckman will be the ones making the decision on who is eligible in this respect. It is for everyone's safety, and hopefully will eliminate STLBiking threads about racers passing kids too fast. Due to the increase in the younger rider participation, the kids will have their own race at the end of the evening, no cost. The races will break down as follows:

A Race 6:00 PM ---35 minutes + 1 lap--- $25/15/5 for the top 3
B Race/Womens Open 6:45 PM ---20 minutes + 1 lap---$25/15/5 for top 3 women, prizes for men's podium
C Race 7:15 PM ---15 minutes + 1 lap--- prizes for podium
Kids Race 7:40 PM --- 3 laps of shorter course in the field, working on SWAG for all the racers

We may add some time to the races depending on daylight availability. All races will be running clock, no timing the first two laps and giving a lap count. If the leader passes the start finish 1 second before time expires, he/she does one more lap, and then the bell lap. This will keep us on time and get us out of the park on time. Chip timing will be used for the A/B/C fields brought to you by Two Timing Guys (2timingguys@gmail.com).

A few other details to note. There will once again be food, but we will more than likely be unable to match Ralph's spread without raising prices $10 per night. We are still working on this. THERE IS NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED PAST THE TRAIN TRESTLE!!!! No exceptions, park rules. Preregistration will be through USA Cycling this year. There is no license required, but everyone must fill out and sign a waiver, which you can do online when you register on USA Cyling's website and save the enviroment.

Dirt Crits are $25 for the first race, $15 for every races thereafter. Re-use your number, $10 for a new number.

There will be a $5 day-of registration fee for all events, so please pre-register, it makes everyone's life easy.
