Proud of your training? here's something to play with on your own website. There are just a few options to start with, maybe some more coming in the future.

Love your work, Ken. :)

as PG noted in his log, an option for 30 day interval would be a nice option. Fairly narrow bars but it should work ok.

Ooh, I've been wanting one of these. Unfortunately wordpress doesn't accept javascript. :-(

Nice widget. One suggestion: axis parameter, so that adjacent graphs will have same scale. See our group:

Typical users! v1 is just out the door and there's already a laundry list of change requests. Seriously, though, I do like the idea of the vertical scale parameter (I wouldn't mind that being a setting on the AP page as well). Then you could tell at a glance if it's a big week.

If i was Ken I'd take that as a complement on how much the website rocks!

How do you get multi-colored bars?

Louise: I don't see any reason why this won't work in wordpress, just edit the template you're using and insert the code in the right place as I've done on my (somewhat delapidated) blog
http://adalgleish.net
ask away if you need any pointers as to editing templates!

is a super function - thanks Ken!

And if you can't edit the template because you're using a wordpress.com site without the paid upgrade, several themes have a widget that lets you insert code as a piece in the sidebar. It's the "insert text/html" one.

Ken, not sure if this is a 'bug' or not.

But on the batch of widgets I put on the Strider site, I notice that mine have the full color range as shown on my regular log, yet one of my running friends widget only has red bars - even though the graphic on his AP log is in multi-color. Just figured I'd point it out.

ps - thanks for the date range addition to the widget - just found that...

ohh the date range feature is nice. Thanks ken!

It looks like you get red bars if you have never explicitly picked colors for your activities. I need to make it use the default colors like the log pages do.

but in the meantime, a workaround is to set your colors.

re Wordpress: thanks, I know how to add widgets and edit CSS. I was whinging about wordpress, not my coding ability (or Ken - love your work).
