Great vantage point being way up there to check out the fish and turtles (and other water critters)

They are great in clear water - love them in tropical waters where you can check out all the reefs. Not so good in headwinds as standing position makes it the least aerodynamic of any paddle craft. Sometimes I'll kneel and paddle as you can make faster progress.
