Not the roots and logs. It’s the trail surface itself that is at a large angle and very loose.
I built up the level of the trail over the roots, and flattened it out. Now we need riding to pack it down.
A winter of hardening always helps too...
I hadn't thought about that. We should snowshoe on it too!
It's right behind our new visitor campsite. Maybe riding the trail half a dozen times could be the price of admission.
