Yeah, if you're living in a new place, try taking up a new hobby that consumes all your time. It's a great way to make friends, and a total bonus when you end up being good at it and enjoying it.

Of course, I miss you guys too. I was jealous of everyone getting to hang out and race this past weekend. I have a friend from paddling who may be moving to Detroit if she gets a job there. I told her I'd hook her up with some cool people if she does.
