Seems like a good time for taking it pretty easy! There is a lot to be said for clean, smooth execution.

How did you go to #4 (mostly, I am curious how you exited 3)?

I didn't think the vegetation NNE of 3 looked all that bad at first glance so I tried to run through it towards the trail not too far from the end of the lake but I found myself getting pushed to the left eventually back into the area mapped as white and ran a fair bit further on the trail than hoped. It doesn't look as though either of us covered ourselves in glory on that leg, though it wasn't a huge time loss. Other people must be tougher about running through vegetation or maybe they punched through directly east to the road and ran on it rather than heading down to the trail.

For the exit from #3, I thought punching through east to the paved trail along the road was the best route. Though I did map the area where #3 was, I would have liked to have spent more time there to do a better job. However, the summertime is not the best for that. Too bad that I didn't have time in August to finish the mapping at this end of the lake.
