I went right and was happy - steps didn't really get in the way, and it was c. 20m shorter, so probably about the same time - splits compared to other SVMs suggested that I didn't lose any time anyway (I'd already decided that the control had to be on set of steps round that side, and had decided which ones would mean me going left and which ones going right whilst looking at blank maps). #15: I passed one guy punching over top of wall too: I went round end so that it lined me up for northern route to #16 and helped me overtake naughty boy. North route no different on measuring to south route, but trying to go for flow through control rather than shuttling in and out when there's not a lot in it. Gap was a bit tight to #20, but it went OK when I ran (started 1912).

Interesting, thanks, I went south to #16 and seemed to be quickest, but that must be because I put a spurt on when I realised people could/were punching from below, plus it was relatively clear, I started about 1810.
