This brings back a bad memory of from the 60's in Baltimore. I was running in an all-comers track meet at the same time as a soccer game on the infield. There was general irritation on everyone's part about the proximity of the two events.
So I am running the two mile race, am comfortably ahead and from out of nowhere I am tackled by a soccer player. I was so shocked that I just rolled over and kept on running. Still pissed off by this 45 years later.
Wow... that must have been extremely frustrating. I get really annoyed when I have to sharply slow down or change direction at high speeds (because of people standing on the track and talking, etc.)
Its also ok to shout get off the track. Most tracks have rules like if you are walking or doing something slow you go to the outside lanes. Even if shout lane one or two that helps people get it.
There was a game going on (Woodside vs. Carlmont), with a dozen or so spectators, so if anything, the lacrosse players had a right to kick me off the track. Which they did, in a way... (-;
