Thanks Ian and Padres! I had a pretty good weekend, some good races on the sprints and long, but I also got really lucky in the middle. That could have turned everything south very quickly.

Ethan, I'm so glad you had such a good weekend. You deserve it. You've not only been training for this, you've also been a great teammate and captain for the juniors, and such a great role model. Thank you.

Honestly, when I realized you'd be competing, it was tempting.
It would be nice to get Dave there for the photos.
But I might lose my job if I keep taking time off. But it is still tempting.

We definitely don't want you to lose your job. I'll be there to take pictures anyway.

@Barb: IF you haven't lost your job by now, I think it's a safe bet you won't -- at least not because of time off...
