If you have a shoe from the past you like, see if you can get it online. Each year the shoe companies update their shoes with the latest "technology". Often they're not an improvement, so if you have a shoe you like that's now a year out of date, you might get it for 60 or 70 quid online.

I ended up getting my new inov8 when Todd was in the States as so much cheaper - even though they're from Northern England.

Also try signing up for sportpursuit.com. They do flash sales and I've picked up inov8s of various kinds a few times. I certainly haven't paid anything approaching 100 quid - maybe 50-60?
