STORM:
Although it focuses only on the Canadian scene, there is a great feature in the latest edition of Get Out There Magazine that looks at the "birth, death and rebirth" of adventure racing. Co-written by the editor and AP'er LosDobos, it also touches on the Ontario Adventure Racing Point Series (OARPS), for which we have its founder Getawaystix to thank. Also in this issue: The 2013 Reader's Choice Awards

Congratulations to STORM for winning the Get Out There Best Adventure Race in Eastern Canada award for the bazillionth time.

Other Attackpointers on the list include the Dontgetlost gang involved in the Salomon Snowshoe Raid (Best Eastern Canada Snowshoe Race) and Salomon Raid The Hammer (Best Eastern Canada Orienteering Race). Snowshoe Raid Race Director Getawaystix also helped to organize several Mud Hero events last year (Best National Obstacle Racing Event).

Any others?

Congrats to all! :)

Thanks for the Get Out There article, loved it. I agree that while we debate whether the sport is dying or growing, it has reached a point of higher quality with the ARWS and ARWC, versus the flashy TV days of EcoChallenge. Now we just need to get TV coverage of the ARWC! I'd be glued to that! Many of us would! (as evidenced by the 2600 posts on AP, following the latest ARWC)
