RockstAR 24 - that is a compliment indeed! :) Great report and awesome CP/TA names. Congratulations on an excellent result too. Tu dois être excitée! ;)

The software we were using came from Grant Killian of Untamed Adventure, and he has been putting a lot of work into it along with the new Delorme/InReach trackers, which worked better than SPOTs for us. The current version of the system has only been used for Untamed NE, Natural Selection AR and WT, and its next stop is Gold Rush Motherlode and maybe ARWC in Costa Rica. It's easy to use but the hard part is still the communication with CPs and TAs, and the enthusiasm for volunteers to share stories with Race HQ. We were really lucky in that department so we ended up with lots of news to report!

Great report Browner and way to keep hammering with a broken bike! CP and TA names are so much easier to remember than numbers...though the order may not be as intuitive. Would one traditionally chug beer before or after cheese and crackers? Hmmm...

Sorry I missed you whilst there!

Bash, lots of compliments for the peeps at home following us on-line too!

Thanks everyone for admiring my obsession with food out there. I may need to invent a new race format with mandatory eating stops. CP Spaghetti and meatballs could really change the results if it was mandatory to stop and eat a bowl full.

Good idea! I'll bet STORM and I can get spaghetti and meatballs when we're racing through Italy!

It might turn into an obstacle course after wolfing down spaghetti & meatballs.
