Mr Wonderful:
as a WT trial run, or competing against each other?

We're doing a WT trial run and working together. If one team wants to run away with it at the end, though, to try to race another team for first, we may split up.

Cool, that was our original intent before things didn't work out.

Please please please take notes on Mark's nav tips. I heard Tony learned a lot from cohosting with him; I have not had the pleasure. He gave a few pointers after one of his o meets and it was super helpful.

I'm hoping to pick up some tips at WT. He somehow magically took us straight from the road through thick vegetation to 25. We walked right up to it. I don't think that yesterday was his best nav day ever, though. Things that were expected such as corn fields and hill sides were not as obvious as they would have seemed. After we missed 23, I said something about the dead corn field that Jim Hafke and I discussed as we walked up to it and Mark was like "I didn't see a corn field" because he was expecting a field with green, living corn in it. I'm not complaining, though, because I don't know that I would have done any better on that course. Wow!

#25 was thick; I think we were more lucky that skillful. And hitting it from the top seems harder - we had the little east reentrant to give us a clue.

That thing was certainly not the first thing that comes to mind when you think "cornfield"!
