It would be great to send competitive NEOC teams to the relays. We've had some success in the past - though having the Saeger sisters running was a big part of that.

Back when I switched from NEOC to WCOC the terms 'NEOC' and 'competitive' were rarely used in the same sentence. I'm a member of both these days (plus UNO) and would consider switching my primary to run on a competitive relay team, assuming of course that relay events were close enough to be viable for me.

Would be good to see NEOC front up on the relay front. Relays are a lot of fun, especially when you are part of a designated team. It was for that reason (as a NEOC member) I switched to CSU as primary in 2011 - fond memories from St Loius. Unfortunately in 2012 I was inadequate point wise (ie too old and too slow) to make a designated CSU team and you just don't get the same buzz in an ad hoc team. So in 2013 I switched to MNOC as primary club - hopefully the buzz will be there. Anyhow I think the point (sic), well made, is to have some club diversity in the relay scene. Now as for NEOC being "competitive", well....... (yep the trash talk has started).

probably need someone to pony up and host a relay champs (or any relays for that matter) before worrying too much about teams. But I'm interested..
