I am now quite worried about you tooms. Just a little while ago you had trouble crossing a room at bathtime. Now stairs are proving a challenge. Poor Edmund will have to weigh up which parent is the safer - mtbJen seems to be attracting troublemakers and you are in the wars. I'm glad Edmund did have teddy - I hope teddy can confer a mantle of safety on him.
Realised the problem just now - you are much safer on a bike or watercraft? It's this steady land that trips you up - I get it now.
* Hope you recover very quickly.
Thanks tt - I'm most stable on a surfski, secondly on a road bike! Can't stay on my MTB for quids, and my feet have always been frisky, but seem to be becoming recalcitrant now!! (each time I walk up/down the stairs since my fall I am more and more aware I/we dodged a bullet this morning... shudder).
Fortunately Edmund had two teddies with him, and was able to give one to Dad to comfort him when he was lying on the floor. He does listen to his mum though, he told granny later that "daddy missed a step. Went crash! Naughty Dad"
I'm also guessing that you would have trouble with foot size and stair width - something I don't but all my family do.
