Are Tico and Getawaystix the top-rated Attackpointers on Team Tecnu at #6?

Getawaystix gets bonus points for also being the captain of WildernessTraverse.com at #17.

If Momar/Running Free/Salomon-Running Free could decide on one name they'd be ranked considerably higher....

The problem is that they are two separate teams - Running Free and Salomon/Suunto - whose members sometimes join up. And sometimes they've taken advantage of a sponsor's offer to race under a different name. Definitely, those are some Attackpointers who could be more highly rated - Harps, Dee, Phatty, Leanimal, Relentless, Leamer, etc. Also, Team Wild Rose (Revy, Carbon, Carbon's Offset) can't be far off the list.

Apparently my previous comment was heavy on the sarcasm and too light on the compliment.

I noticed the compliment *and* it turns out my previous comment was wrong anyway. :) I went for a long run with three members of the team today, and in fact they *do* qualify as a single team for the ARWC rankings because they raced with the same core group of teammates during the rankings period. (That's what happens when the majority of racers on two teams have babies over a 2-year period!) So their ranking will be updated to reflect that fact before the next list is released.

JayXC - thanks for the nice compliment. Means a lot from someone who's team I know would be in there if you guys did a few ARWC races.

Thanks for that. However, I'm sure we'll fall back into 44th place or so once all of the other anomalies get sorted out. I really applaud Craig for putting this together. It's a big commitment to execute it accurately but it does create a lot of extra interest and discussion...good for the sport!

Yep, big kudos to Tecnu, DART, Wilderness Traverse (wow, what would the Getawaystix score be if you took his 4 best races?!), MOMAR/Salomon-Suunto/Running Free! And shouldn't Pentathlon be ranked higher? Did some of their races get missed? ARWC 2012 + Untamed New England, +...?

Unfortunately, they were DQed at Untamed NE.

Oh, I forgot that about UNE, I thought it just resulted in them being bumped down a position.

Turns out JayXC was prescient. Now that Team Salomon-Running Free has been recognized as a single team during the rankings period, they are 16th in the world. Awesome! So proud of you guys!
