We were having a really close race through the first half an hour of the course, never more than 20 seconds apart and mostly only 3 or 4 seconds. You obviously died a lot more than me after that but I was really happy with how I was going up to 12 so I'm really impressed that you were right with me all the way.

With another year of solid training I could definitely see you holding that pace or even faster for the whole course. You would need to find a way of keeping the training up a bit more consistently though.

Thanks I was feeling really good as well, was thinking I could mentally get through the point when my body wanted to give up but at 13 my legs really seized up and refused to run, it was quite wierd actually not really happened before. I think I was probably also quite fatigued from site which contributed (4 weeks straight no days off + a couple of late party nights towards the end of the swing for fiesta).

Yeah I'm really keen to be more consistent, particularly while I'm travelling is when I seem to lose a couple of weeks without realising. This year though was definately a year of building a fitness base to build from to be competitive next year... Could you help me build a new program for the rest of this year?

Micromine? I'm not really the programming type methinks.... :)

Even I was beating Craig for a while, but my legs and navigational abilities gave up on me. Not enough running lately.
