It sounds like a long middle distance race. Was it really 9km? My knee can sympathise with your compass. I fractured it at Kahli's Rocks in 1997.

Thanks Bruce. I actually hadn't seen the OA website yet so cheers for the heads up!
Was actually a middle distance. Think I took a bit under 37 and Craney won with 33 something, for 5.2k. I just threw the warm up and down in there as the one session.
