When I go to a new place, I tend to look for a stream valley park and flip to aerial views to see if there might be a trail. The aerials show some trails to the west of where you ran, past the golf course. Did you have a map when you were following the MapMyRoute route--I would have needed one? I don't know if it will work schedule-wise but if you want to do an easy but longer trail run this weekend let me know.

speaking of runs - have you ever seen this one? http://gmap-pedometer.com?r=5005128

I got this from mapmyrun also and did it last summer. Note it actually goes under the Eiffel tower . . .

I must have missed you running that. Is a much cooler but still complicated route. I had lots to see. At least you had monuments to guide you.

Peggy and I did a shorter route that crossed paths with yours. We just went along the Seine from Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower and back along the south side of the river. It was in March 2006 when we were returning from one of the trips to adopt Max.
