My recommendation. Otherwise, in Dick Detwiler's log they're discussing Hoka Running shoes.

I use the elliptical in the Y when I can't get to trails. Roads are too hard on my knees and hips.

Good thought.... I also find I can run alot faster and at more comfortable level on the road then I can in the woods... so if I am to get better I should get off road more....will try to find some good trails when I get to Lake George next week...

As you probably know, Saratoga Spa and Saratoga National Historic Park have quite nice trails. Not sure what's up around Lake George.

I have biked at Sar. N.P. and just love it .... but that is an hour plus for me... as I am up at the north end of the lake at Ticonderoga.... But I can run on some of the dirt roads in that area... thanks for the thoughts...I do want to try a day of golf and then trail run a Saratoga Spa this summer...
