Discussion: Impact of other runners

I was helped by seeing other runners at controls 10 and 12 where you lost time, so a bit of a lottery really compared with say no.6 where I was notably slower when I went slightly wide of the pit and then had to hunt in the circle. I also had similar problems to you with 1 and 2 but lost even more time. Looking at our splits also shows you were consistently a bit faster than me,
