Hi, I'm looking for a lift from (or from close to) a metro station out to this event. If anyone can help me out please let me know - I'd really appreciate it! I'm down for control collection so will try to work out a ride back once I get to the event (or, if I can work out how to get my bike there, I won't need a lift back...). Thanks!

Dan and I are in the habit of riding with David Levine, meeting him at either the Takoma Park Metro or a few blocks from the Silver Spring Metro. Since I'll be renting a car and heading out to the park early to help Peggy get the controls in the woods, he ought to have room for you. Shall I perform introductions?

Dave Hauver, if he's going, lives in Mt Pleasant so would be pretty easy to rendezvous with. Unfortunately, he's not in the habit of saying in Facebook that he's going to events.

Thanks Jon! If you could let me know David's email address or phone number that would be great.

Amber, I'll be driving out to Patuxent and can give you a ride. Forest Glen is a good station for me, and I'd rather go earlier than later. I have a minivan that can swallow a bike.

Don Fish is also looking to carpool (I think he can drive or will ride) from the Potomac area, and, he's also signed up for control pickup. If anyone wants his contact info let me know directly. [Our car is full of people + equipment.]

Yay! Thanks for getting one of my control retrievers to the meet! Much appreciated.
(Agreed, AP is great.)
