Discussion: Historical results

There used to be a link off the HVO page to the results and splits and some stories from all the old Highlanders. Does that still exist somewhere in cyberspace?

(For example, links like this one: http://www.geocities.com/hvo61/HIGHLANDER/1995/hig... don't work anymore.)

These are the links I found when I started looking for old results a few years ago. J-J might have more links or at least the results.

I definitely have all the information at home, in printed form at least. And I have a spreadsheet with all of the times and places (not yet updated with this year's results).

Internet Archive Wayback Machine.

I found this very useful in locating old A-meet results as well.

Oops, just tried it. Geocities sites don't appear to be available.

I have access to the HVO web site repository (with most old HVO results back to 1995). It appears the earlier Highlander were not uploaded or posted on the HVO web site, but at some other site.
I might track the 2004-2010 meet notes and write ups later, takes some time to produce the links and make sure that they all work.

Cool, thanks for that, Daniel. It would be nice to have some sort of compilation just like the one that exists for the Billygoat.

The Billygoat site appears to have the results from 2001 back. I didn't see 2002, though; was there one that year?

2002 was the Year of No Highlander. There was an event instead called the Highland Chase, but it was a very different format.

Those old Highlander results link to the non-existing HVO Geocities site, which is why I started this discussion to begin with.
