On the long straight ride - I did figure it out.
How many times does a line that connects controls cross the route from one control to another? I bet you don't know because we train ourselves to filter those out! I don't see them at all. They are not a land feature and you don't want to be distracted by them.
That long ride - looked a whole lot like just another one of them.
Check it out and tell me you don't see a similarity;-)
