Indeed, but if only one is so inclined, and no other pilots want to go, that one may opt for the beach, and wait to see what the skies hold in the next couple of days.
Off to France I presume?
We´re leaving tomorrow (Friday) morning...
Have a great time in France. The weather was glorious this morning, I'm glad I made it out in a sleepy haze!
It will be interesting to see what the O' is like. My guess it will be not as bad as people fear. Meaning, there will be parts that are quite slow/difficult and other parts that are (very) fast. And that's for what they give the stars. What they give the old farts, well, I guess more of the latter than the former. We shall see.
Like any other orienteering, it will just be a matter of matching the tactics to the terrain. And, of course, some things never change -- make it as easy as possible, just find the controls and the speed will take care of itself.
Have a good trip! Pump up the kids!!
PG>> Definitely not as scary as advertised, but quite enjoyable. See you soon!
