Ive said it before, and i'll say it again. There are already good brands in place in North America. You'll get it a lot cheaper. No reason in using 4000kr on a 500lumen silva headlamp.

btw. get one of these to have as backup light. Has the same LED as the magicshine. Lots of people do use the magicshine, and if it breaks, you can just buy a new one since they cost next to nothing.

What about the Mila DXL. ~$320 for a good 'headgear', and what looks like the magicshine lamp.

yes, its pretty much the exact same one. I asked someone about it a while back, and there was something about that they have just rebranded the magicshine and put a longer warranty or something similar to provide a cheaper alternative to their other headlamps, but i mean, its still pretty expensive. As for the headgear, it gives more support, but it might not be necessary. the lamp is light enough anyways.

but its not near the 900lm they campaign on. If you want to invest money into a headlamp, consider the "light & motion" (dont know where they sell the headband for it, but i have seen people with it), otherwise i doubt anyone has regreted buying the magicshine; it seems really decent. besides, the battery issue was fixed.
