Sorry to hear this. I'm having a lot of back pain too, but this sounds much worse. Hope it doesn't last too long.
Oh, he's seriously hurting. A serios effort to get out of his chair, and it reportedly took him about 8 minutes to get out of bed this morning. He's actuarying furiously, though.
Ouch! Sounds bad. We'll be thinking of you.
So how is your back doing?
I know you may not log on for awhile, but I hope your back is improving. When I did something similar it took a long time to get better. Maybe you'll be luckier. Give us an update.
Putting on socks a few days before a race? what kind of actuary does that??
Good luck on a speedy recovery!
This is not going well, although I am improved some. I now can walk without a stick, although not far. Pretty bent over.
The brief re-cap of The Sock Incident J-J gave made it sound pretty bad. You know, it is possible to get those surgically implanted perma-socks. Maybe that's something to consider in the future.
Many people at the Batona 500 were distressed to hear about your accident, and it's quite conceivable the majority of them didn't know you personally at all. All this due to maprunner's bingo initiative.
Hmmmm....one could even wonder if any new couples or at least intros were fostered by the bingo, even though no dis-robing was involved in the game.
Perma-socks? No, I need to change them from time to time or the dog gets entirely too friendly.
Are you sure there was no disrobing in the AP Bingo game? It is possible that disrobing would have been a winning strategy.
I'm not sure at all. There were autograph snatchers out in force even at the motel, and who knows what kind of quid-pro-quo might have been negotiated there. The one room I stopped by turned out to be pretty much a den of iniquity, and I dare not name the names or the activities, less they send out the blackguard after me.
