Knock on wood, you've fixed this thing. If so, it speaks to the benefit of some legitimate, complete rest from running now and then.

I don't think it is fixed yet. Few days without hamstring pain are nothing to get excited about. I can feel you are itching to go faster, but BE PATIENT, man, for your own good! Let it heal before resuming speedy workouts. Slow runs will keep running mechanics in tact. It's base building period anyway. Stick with treadmill because of speed-control.

yea dude no rush, look at me >1 of rest and counting, legs wanna go fast too but what the heck, few more months won't hurt ;) be patient as others pointed...
